Beacon Indica exists because we believe that India has the talent, ambition, and scale to lead the global startup ecosystem. What's missing is a structured starting point.
India produces millions of graduates every year — many of whom dream of building something of their own. Yet, the path from “I have an idea” to “I have a startup” remains frustratingly unclear for most. The startup ecosystem today is thriving, but it's still largely concentrated in a few cities, a few colleges, and a few privileged networks.
Beacon Indica was born from a simple observation: the bottleneck isn't talent or ambition — it's access and structure. Most aspiring founders don't fail because they lack good ideas. They fail because they don't know where to start, who to talk to, or how to move from thinking to building.
We created Beacon Indica to solve this problem at scale. Starting with Startup School — an 8-week, cohort-based program — we're building the infrastructure that takes young founders from zero to one. Our long-term vision extends far beyond a single program: we are building a complete startup ecosystem that serves founders at every stage of their journey.
